As a part of the 2008 Canada's Parks Day celebration, BC Parks organized the 5th annual Kid’s Art Contest. Kids from ages 4 to 12 were asked to enter their artwork. We asked participants to draw, paint or colour a poster of a favourite B.C. park OR a poster that encourages other people to visit their favourite BC parks. |

Canada's Parks Day is celebrated all over B.C. - You’re Invited!
Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate Canada's Parks Day by visiting one of our provincial parks on July 19, 2008. Parks Day is a celebrated annually on the third Saturday of July in every province and territory across the country. So we hope to see you again next year on Saturday, July 18, 2009. |
